Senate Passes Small-Business Aid Bill, 61-38
The
Senate passed, by a vote of 61 to 38, a long-stalled
measure to aid small
businesses with tax breaks and expanded
credit, a victory for President Obama
after the bill was
stalled for months by Republican opposition. The House
of
Representatives has already passed a similar bill and is
expected to
quickly approve the Senate's version.
